Greet the Season

Maritime Folknet brings you a full day of Free, Live Music aboard the historic steamer Virginia V. There will also be free crafts, and coloring for all ages (children and adults).

This is part of a day-long event all around Lake Union Park with ship tours and activities from: MOHAI, The Center for Wooden Boats, and NW Seaport’s fleet of historic boats, including: M/V Lotus, Tordenskjold, Fireboat Duwamish, Tugboat Arthur Foss, and the Lightship “Swiftsure”.

Saturday, November 30th Itinerary:

  • 10am - 6pm Open Ship (free hot drinks, snacks, and ship tours)
  • 10am - 6pm Maritime Folknet presents LIVE MUSIC (see schedule)
  • 10am - 5pm Maritime Folknet presents crafts and coloring for all ages

Lake Union/Lake Washington

Short cruises (usually 2-3 hours) are a great way to view Seattle from the inside. Whether we travel down the ship canal to Ballard’s Chittenden Locks or east into Lake Washington, guests are treated to awesome views of neighborhoods surrounding downtown.
