Drama on Deck Camp

Students entering grades 4-6

Join the SS VIRGINIA V and Seattle Children's Theatre to experience what it was like to survive and rebuild in Seattle after the Storm of 1934. Inspired by the vibrant history of the VIRGINIA V, over the course of this week we will turn the ship into a stage and create a performance in the Main Deck. Campers will be immersed in and inspired by the maritime history of Puget Sound, with special visits to the Museum of History and Industry, the Historic Ships Wharf, and the Center for Wooden Boats. On the last day of camp, campers will perform their show for friends and family.
  • $350 per student
  • Each student receives one adult and one youth ticket to a Virginia V public cruise as part of registration
  • Member discounts and early bird pricing available
