Open Ship Hours

VIRGINIA V is now out of the shipyard and will be having a busy cruising season for the rest of its centennial year.  The ship will be spending some if its summer at our home port, the Historic Ships Wharf at Lake Union Park and part of its summer out on Puget Sound. We are continuing to add public ticketed cruise opportunities to our calendar page, so please check back. When the ship isn't cruising and when we have sufficient staff and volunteer support, we love to open the ship up for public tours!

"Open ship" opportunities in August 2022:

The afternoons of August 4th, 18th and 25th we plan to be open for tours of the ship from noon to 5 p.m. at our dock at Lake Union Park.  For more information about the park and the Historic Ships Wharf, visit this website:

If you are a current or prospective charter client, please contact our Executive Director, Debra Alderman, to discuss your plans and set up a private tour: And be sure to visit our YouTube channel to see virtual tours and other video content that Senior Docent Ed Brown has produced.
